Realities 
Lampstand = spirit and pastor 
Blind man = person who sees but does not perceive Word 
Deaf person = person who hears Word yet does not understand

1. The Figurative Lampstand

Physical Characteristics
① Origin of furnishings 
② To shine light into darkness 

Lampstand in Tabernacle
Ex 25:5-9) Tabernacle: built exactly as God showed him 
Ex 27:29) Oil from pressed olives 
Ex 27:21) From evening until morning 
Heb 8:5) Tabernacle at time of Moses 
  only copy and shadow of what is in heaven 

True Meaning of Figurative Lampstand
Rv 4:5) From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. Before the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.  
Rv 5:6) 7 eyes = 7 spirits 
Is 29:10) Eye = prophet 

 Lampstand = candlestick = eye = spirit and pastor 

Prophecy and Fulfillment of Lampstand
Heb 9:9-10) Tabernacle: illustration for present time

 Physical Characteristics
① Blind: people who cannot see  
② Deaf: people who cannot hear 
Rv 3:17-18) Pastor: does not realize he is blind 
Mt 13:9) "He who has ears, let him hear."
Is 42:18-20) Blind, deaf = servants of God 
Is 29:9-13) Eye = prophet, Whole vision = Words sealed in scroll 

Realities of Blind and Deaf: in time of First Coming 
Mt 23:16) Blind guides = pharisees and teachers of law 
Mt 15:14) Blind man leads blind man → Pit = Hell 
Mt 13:15) Their hearts became calloused → blind and deaf 
Jn 9:39-41) Jesus: blind → see 
               those who see → blind 

Realities of Blind and Deaf: in time of Second Coming
Rv 2:5) If they do not repent remove lampstand: blind 
Rv 3:17) Although they are blind, they do not recognize it
