The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority."

✅What are Reality of Figurative Beast? 

 

✔Reality

Beast = person who does not perceive God or His Word  

Man = person who knows God and completly perceives God's Word 

✔Explanation 

Physical Characteristics of Beast: It does not have reason, and only lives according to its instincts 

1. Man and Beast (in books of moral teachings) 

Prv 30:2-4) 

2 "I am the most ignorant of men; I do not have a man's understanding.

3 I have not learned wisdom, nor have I knoledge of the Holy One. 

4 Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped yo the waters in his cloack? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know! (NIV84) 

→ Beast 

Ps 49:20) 

A man who has riches without understanding is like the beasts that perish 

Jude 1:10)

Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct-as irrational animals do-will destroy them. 

Spiritual Meanings 

Beast: person who cannot perceive God and Word 

Man: person who has completely perceived God and His Word 

2. Classification of the Figurative Beasts (In the books of prophecies) 

2 Thes 2:1-3) Betrayal → Destruction → Salvation 

Bestrayer: once belonged to God but now belongs to Satan 

Mt 7:6)

Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. 

2 Pt 2:20-22)

20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 

21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 

22 Of them the proverbs are ture: "A dog returns to its vomit," and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud." 

Destroyer belongs to Satan (wild beasts, snakes, and wolves)

Gn 3:1) Wild animal: serpent 

Mt 7:15) False prophets: wolves 

Rv 13:1-2) Leopard, bear and lion 

Savior belongs to God (lamb, sheep, and oxen)

Jn 1:29) 

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and siad, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

Mt 25:31-34) Sheeo-like believers receive kingdom of heaven as their inheritance 

1 Cor 9:9-10) Person with task, pastor → ox 

Spiritual Meaning

Dogs, Pigs: shpherds who lack understanding and turn to thier own way 

Serpent, Wild Beasts: destroyer

Lamb: Jesus, our savior 

Sheep, Ox: righteous believer
